The Advisory Board acts as a sounding board for the directors. The members provide expert and objective advice to the company, challenging and scrutinising key issues in a supportive way and ensuring the organisation has one eye on the future. Because it's not part of the formal governance of the company, the Advisory Board can be independent and objective in its feedback.
